Day 01 ● September 30, Wednesday.
DMZ＊Close Monday and Military operation day(s).
Depart from hotel before 6 AM with PASSPORTS, One hour drive.
07:00 ★ After arrive at DMZ ticket office,
Ticket office will be open 9am and issue the tickets.
We have to be queue on the line 2 hours without nothing to do.
So you can enjoy foods at 2nd floor otherwise Snacks and Coffees on ground floor.
The first DMZ tour bus is being operated from 9:20 am and will be back 3 & half hours later.
When we got bus tickets, each ticket has it’s own seat number of the Bus.
A few minutes later, we will be reach Military Check point, then Military Police check the Passports of everybody.
Later 3 & half hours later, we will be back same military check point, they will check the Passports again and number of passengers.
Don’t say joke or any words except showing your passport to them please.
DMZ means DeMilitarised Zone,
155 miles, 250km from the West to East of the peninsula.
Then 2km to South and 2km to North, total 4km by 250km, what we called DMZ area.
We are going to visit center line of the DMZ boarder.
You will see and witness the end of freedom of the World.
↑ You can see North Korea side just beyond these tourists.

So far 4 infitration tunnels were found out from 1974 ~ 1990 in DMZ.
Above map is the 3rd tunnel which was found out on 1978. Left is North Korea, Right side is South Korea.
Left side, North Korea is 3 degree low than Right, South Korea side.
The reason why, underground water comes out naturally when they dig the underground.
Otherwise, You guess reverse situation, they couldn’t keep dig the underground on due to underground waters.
South Korea military authority try to found out underground infiltration tunnels roughly 20 times,
but we found out 4 underground tunnels so far.
Remember !
When you enter & going down to tunnel 358 m, that would be no problem.
But when you coming up to the entrance from the underground infiltration tunnel, very hard to climb up.
We have Two largest traditional hloidays in Korea.
● The first one is !st of January, lunar calendar,
● The Second one is !5th of August, lunar calendar.
Generally 3days each holidays are official holidays.
● But most of companies clos 5days to 9days in general.
In South Korea, there are 10 million peoples from North Korea during the Korean War, 25th of June, 1950 to 27th of July, 1953.
That means South Korean peoples have families, parents, brothers and sisters in North Korea.
When we have National holidays like 1st of January, lunar calendar and 15th of August,, lunar calendar, many many peoples come to DMZ, and put some foods and fruits, bow to North Korea bound and drop tears and cry, cry. they tie up the ribbon on the wire-zip as above photos.
They leave some messages on the ribbon, I miss you, I love you, I love mommy and papa, ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
But frankly and actually,
most of families were left this planet.
Korean war was finished 27th July, 1953, 73years ago.

Day 02 ● October 01
Depart from Your hotel in SEOUL before 7:30 AM.
Drive to Museum SAN, WONJU, GANGWON-DO Province, 110 km, 1:30~2 hours.
Visit below photos’ Museum SAN, which was designed by the World famous Japanese Architecture “ANDO TADAO”,
from 2005 and finished 8years later.
ANDO TADAO, He was a Pritzker Prize Laureate,
The Pritzker Architecture Prize is widely considered the Nobel Prize of Architecture.
And drive down to South bound, AN-DONG.
Drive from Museum SAN, WONJU to ANDONG STANFORD Hotel, 150 km, 2hours more or less.

Day 03 ● October 02
1＊ Visit and participate “HA-HOE Mak Festival between 24th Sep. and 04th Oct., 2026.
2＊ Visit HA-HOE Village, UNESCO’s World Heritage.
Queen Elizabeth II had visited this HA-HOE Village, celebrated her majesty 73rd Birthday party on April, 1999.
3＊ Observatory view point to see good command of view of HA-HOE Village
4＊ DO-SAN-SEO-WON = TOE-GYE-SEO-WON
It was a University in the middle of 16 Century during the JOSEON Dynasty.
5＊ BYEONG-SAN-SEO-WON
This is better than DO-SAN-SEO-WON in terms of landscape Architecture.

Depart from ANDONG to GYEONG-JU, 170 km, 3hours
● On the way to GYEONG-JU,
Try to stop and visit YANG-DONG Village, UNESCO’s World Heritage.
Korean traditional houses village, and this village is being kept over 600years long so far.
But time is not enough, skip it depends on the time.
