Brief history of KOREA Republic
Korean Peninsula is connected with Manchuria, and Vladivostoc.
Totally Different Race, Different Culture, Different language, Different DNA & Characters, Everythings are totally different from neighbor country of it’s China and/or Russia.
KOREA, COREA, COREE since the Creation, Genesis.
Last 5,000 years history throughout the Korean Peninsula.
We have many Dynasties and Kingdoms as following.
1. GO-JO-SEON (BC 2333 ~ BC 108)
Founder of the Country was “DANGUN”
The 03rd of OCT. is a National Foundation day of the Country.
We are celebrating National foundation day every year.
Three Kingdoms Period
2. GO-GU-RYEO (BC 37 ~ 668 AD) (705 years)
North KOREA, Manchuria(North-eastern Part of China)
& Southern part of Mongolia.
3. BAEK-JE (BC 18~660 AD) (678 years)
South West of Korean Peninsula. Jeolla,
Choong-Cheong province & Seoul area.
4. SHILLA(BC56~935AD)(992 Years). GyeongSang province area
Currently Gyeong-Sang province.
We call it Millennium Kingdom, Millennium City.
5. UNITED SHILLA (BC 56~935AD) (992 years)
SHILLA Kingdom had unified 3 Kingdoms in 676 AD.
Capital City was GYEONG-JU, It was nominated as
UNESCO’s World Culural City like Arhens.
6. GO-RYEO (918AD~1392AD) (474 years)
GO-RYEO was named after previous Kingdom, GO-GU-RYEO,
then the name of COREA is originated
from GO–GU-RYEO & GO-RYEO Kingdom.
● GO-GU-RYEO → GO-RYEO → CORE+A (= COREA).
The reason why Kingdom of GO-GU-RYEO had
territorial expansion & occupied southern part of Mongolia
and Northeast of China, Manchuria.
They are very proud of their ancestors of G0-Gu-Ryeo Dynasty.
So they want to recover the terririty of ancesters’.
MARCO POLO, Italian traveller had called it, informed and
published to European continent as a COREA.
COREA is being called in European countries, Latin countries,
Spain, Portugal, Italia and South America, 16 COUNTRIES.
COREA is being called KOREA in English countries,
in UK, USA. and most of countries.
7. JOSEON (1392~1910) Dynasty.
JOSEON (1392 ~ 1910), Kingodm of JOSEON Dynasty.
named from previous Kingdom of GO-JO-SEON.
8. DAE-HAN-MIN-GUK (1945~Today)

HAN-GUK is abbreviation of DAE-HAN-MIN-GUK.
Republic of KOREA
Currently,
Latin countries call it COREA,
French say COREE.
English countries speak KOREA.
Korean call it as a “DAE-HAN-MIN-GUK” or “HAN-GUK”.
HAN-GUK is abbreviation of full name “DAE-HAN-MIN-GUK”.
“DAE-HAN-MIN-GUK” means “KOREA the Great”
or “The Country of Great HAN Nation”.
13th Century, Italian merchant, explorer and writer,
MARCO POLO (Sep. 15, 1254~Jan. 08, 1324) have named
this country “COREA”. It is consist of CORE+A.
His travel story was published as a “The Travels of Marco Polo”.
The alphabet A which is placed at the end of Noun becomes
“Country, Territory and/or Land” according to the Latin Grammer.
COREA means that “The Country of CORE (Dynasty)”.
